Leang Lim stopped by the shop last Sunday to pick up his $50 giftcard for winning last months Photoshop Contest with his Turklight Submission. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who participated and hope to see you for the next round. 

Leang Lim's submission of Turklight got him the most votes for the Thanksgiving Photoshop Contest. He was smart enough to take advantage of that Hunky Stallion Rob P. from the Twilight series to get the lady voters. Turklight received two-thirds of the votes that came in. We said that we would be holding these Photoshop contests monthly and we apologize for falling behind, but we're back for another round! This time we have a special Thanksgiving themed Photoshop contest. This time we are supplying you with a picture of a Turkey and our Mustache logo to use. You also get to choose one random item and one random person or friend in your submission. Try and get as creative as possible. Check out our example for the contest below. Scavenger Hunt - A game in which individuals or teams seek to gather a number of specific items -- usually not by purchase -- or perform tasks as given by a list. The goal is usually to complete the list first.

Well this is one of those! This is our very first ever full fledged scavenger hunt. First person to complete our list of 5 items gets to choose between two prizes. One being 2 tickets to the "How The West Was One" tour, which features Snoop Dogg and DJ Quik performing at the House Of Blues. This concert takes place on Friday, November 20th with the doors opening at 7PM and open to all ages. These two General Admission tickets value up to $130! The second choice of prizes would be a $50 Gift Card to the 5&A Dime shop to use on any of your purchases.

Rules are simple, all you need is a camera and a person who knows their way downtown. The Scavenger Hunt begins today and ends when the first person brings in all the required pictures on our list. In order to win the Snoop Dogg tickets or 5&A Dime Giftcard, you have to come into the shop with a photo of you in front of the 5 hotspots below. We will announce the winner via, Facebook, Blog, and Twitter. So keep a look out on those for winning announcements to ensure you still have a chance to win.

All of these hotspots are located in the Downtown San Diego area and are of walking distance. This also gives you a chance to do a bit of sight seeing downtown, so have fun while scavenging!
