And just like that, as quickly as the San Diego Comic Convention arrived, it was gone... Gone, but never forgotten. This is usually due to the large numbers of moving trucks driving around, the (thesaurus a word for "huge amounts") of pedicabs with television themed banners, and the extremely huge banners posted on the side of buildings. Don't worry fellow Comic Con enthusiasts, it'll be back before you know it and you'll deal with the panic of how to get in. Posting on Facebook/Twitter asking anyone for a pass, talking to people you haven't talked to since the last Comic Con, or even paying ludicrous amounts on craigslist.
We were lucky enough to have people hook us up with extra passes to get in for a day or 2. Big thanks to my buds Rob Bautista, Floyd Villarin, and Mark Kays for the passes! But hey, do your pals at 5 & A Dime a favor next year and let us borrow your extra pass so we can provide you with tons of content for your much dreaded Monday work day! Also we'll be grateful or thankful or somethingful...? Whatever you know what I mean.
So we didn't have a day 3 post because someone was slacking... Jon... Just kidding. Zach also has a big post he's working on, but he's lagging too.
Anyways, day 3 was a hectic day! As I was walking inside the convention I encountered a huge mob along with security guards in blue shirts giving me the Jamie Foxx (erRrrRrRrR), telling me to stop when most of the cast of the Avengers walked right by me. Pretty cool right? Well, what comes next may blow your mind! I saw Weird Al Yankovic, you read correctly, Weird Al Yankovic. You may remember him from such hits as, Fat, Amish Paradise, Eat It, and many more. Saw some cool stuff as expected, saw some crazy costumes, and just enjoyed ourselves. It was so crowded inside and just a bit ridiculous, I didn't end up spending any money buying stuff which was good, we just walked at our own pace, tried to avoid as many crowds as we could, take some photos, and then also stop taking photos due to laziness.
Now the photos!
And so we have it, that was my day 3 and day 4 plus a little extra. Hope you guys and gals enjoyed my version of Comic Con 2014
